POLISHED CONCRETE
What Is Polished Concrete?
Polished concrete is not just "shiny concrete." It’s a systematic finishing process using progressively finer industrial diamond tooling to refine the surface of a structurally sound concrete slab. Along the way we densify (chemically harden) the concrete’s top layer, close the surface and protect it with penetrating sealers. The result is a hard‑wearing, attractive surface with long-term performance.
Why choose polished concrete?
- Modern Aesthetic
Achieve a clean, sophisticated finish with your choice of matte, satin, or high-gloss shine. - Durable & Long-Lasting
Polished concrete stands up to heavy foot traffic, making it perfect for homes, shops, and industrial spaces. - Low Maintenance
No need for waxing or sealing—just simple cleaning keeps it looking fresh. - Eco-Friendly Option
Polished concrete uses your existing slab, reducing the need for additional materials and waste. - Customizable Look
Choose from various levels of stone exposure and sheen for a completely custom floor.

Floor exposure level
When we grind the surface, we reveal varying amounts of the stone. Exposure is a design choice and is largely determined by how much we remove from the surface.
- Nil exposure
- Salt & pepper
- Random exposure
- Full exposure
Choose your level of exposure for your polished concrete.
Gloss level
After grinding and honing, we polish to the sheen that suits your design and maintenance plan.
-
Matte : Soft, low reflectivity; hides dust; good for outdoor glare control.
-
Satin: Popular in homes; a gentle sheen that brightens rooms without looking wet.
-
Semi-Gloss: Increased reflectivity; retail spaces, showrooms.
-
High Gloss / Mirror: Deep reflection; premium architectural interiors. Shows dust & footprints sooner—plan good maintenance.
